I still can't believe I went to Europe! I had no plans to go absolutely nowhere but Philly this year (low funds lol). My family decided to do another family trip, and I picked France because my mom always wanted to go there. The last family trip were the siblings picks, so it was the parents turn! France was really nice and definitely had its bougie moments. We stayed at an Airbnb in Bagnolet and took the Metro to get to Central Paris a.k.a. the city. I got to see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Musee du Louvre (Queen Bey!), and my favorite Champs-Elysees!
We had eleven days in Europe and knew that we wanted to check out other European Unions, and we sure did! We originally wanted the UK since we had family and friends there. However, tickets were selling out, and we decided to head to Amsterdam (so glad we did). We booked out hotel and tickets just two and a half hours before catching the bus which was a huge adventure let me tell ya lol! Once we caught the bus, we were on our way for a six and a half hour ride to Amsterdam. We also stopped in Nazareth and Antwarp Belgium. I only got a few glimpses of Belgium, but I loved it (maybe even a bit more than Amsterdam lol!). After the pit stops, we were in Amsterdam. I seriously don't know where to begin. It's such an amazing and chill place (perfect for young adults too!). The people were nice and even though we made the mistake of booking our hotel so fast, we had to wait almost twelve hours to get our room (not to mention we arrived in Amsterdam at midnight), but the hotel receptionists were so nice and kind. They still took our stuff, and got us food, and offered us to sleep and chill in the lounge. It's a very diverse country and it's the fifth largest bicycle country. You cannot miss the bicycles (you literally have to watch out for bikes more than cars). While we were there, we checked out the Anne Frank House (from the outside since tickets are always sold out), The Red Light District, The Old Church (Oude Kerk), and of the course the city streets, foods, and boat rides of the capital of the Netherlands!
Can you tell how much I loved Amsterdam!!!!! The Belgium Waffles are amazing even in Amsterdam too!!!!
